As you scrape the bottom of the barrel of the waiver wire ahead of week 4, here are some names to consider. Keep in mind these picks are based on a 12-team, standard, head-to-head league.
RB
- Rawls, Thomas: Marshawn’s injury will nag him throughout the year, making Rawls the benefactor of increased touches.
- Andrews, Antonio: The Titans backfield makes me nervous but you have to ride the hot hand.
- Sims, Charles: Didn’t have faith in Doug Martin before the season started and I still don’t. Play Sims!
- Dunbar, Lance: The Saints are giving up 126 rushing yards per game and Lance Romance will do his best to increase that average… along with Joseph Randle of course.
WR
- Jones, Marvin: KC is giving up over 300 yards per game to receivers. Me like.
- Matthews, Rishard: Don’t love the matchup against the Jets but he’s proving to be a favourite target of Ryan Tannehill’s.
- Harvin, Percy: Will this year prove to be the re-emergence of Percy of old? I doubt it, but I’ll ride the wave as long as I can.
- Quick, Brian: Rams need some help on offense and are bound to get some decent production out of Brian Quick… if they just put him out there!
TE
- Fleener, Coby: The Colts may have turned a corner which means more Luck to Fleener connections.
- Clay, Charles: Clay will have his way with the Giants secondary.
- Williams, Maxx: Crocket is out, which means Flacco will look to Maxxy in the redzone.
- Thomas, Julius: Could play this week or next. He will still be productive even without Peyton as his gunslinger.
